Biography

Most people reach for the stars all their life, but Elle B. doesn’t need to reach, as she’s been a light amongst them for some time now. The LA born and bred songstress has singing in her blood, because with a classically trained singer for a mother, it’s only natural that the apple didn’t fall too far from the tree.

Inspired at an early age by seeing Ben Vereen sing “The Impossible Dream” at an awards show, she followed her heart to the path of song, all throughout high school, singing in Brandy Norwood’s Inglewood based foundation as well as the NAACP Image and Disney American Teacher Awards. Through these younger years, she also sang background for the likes of Mya, Yolanda Adams and the legendary Stevie Wonder.

Elle B the artist, had her first solo show in 2007, and has been releasing her own music ever since dropping 2009’s “The Elle B Ep.” Her music opened many eyes and ears, and afforded her the opportunity to open for the likes of Chrisette Michele, Raheem Devaughn, and Miguel. Incredibly, Elle has also been singing lead backup for Katy Perry since 2010, and has performed at SNL, the 49th Super Bowl, The Grammys and the White House for President Barack Obama to name a few key performances.

With all this experience and talent under her belt, it’s only a matter of time before Elle B has made a fan of you. This newest release from her, “Noire” is all she needs to do that. Get ready, because once you let her incredible voice and unique sound enter your ears, you won’t be able to get her out of your head or heart.
