DJ Rock City’s journey began in the Midwest where he was merely a boy with a passion for music. When he began spinning at local parties and family gatherings, his unique style and energy got people listening and quickly led to his own weekly club spot, “Adrenaline Rush”.
Boasting a repertoire of sounds form hard-house to hip hop, and sporting his signature Mohawk, Rock City is redefining the 21st century DJ in style. His undeniable stage presence won him the coveted position of Maxim Magazine’s 2007 Spring Break DJ in Acapulco, where he dazzled over 20,000 screaming fans and opened for names like DJ AM, DJ Green Lantern, T-Pain and Lil’ Flip.
Today you can find Rock City spinning at some of Chicago’s most exclusive nightclubs, a scene that he dominated within six months of his arrival. It is his obvious confidence, distinctive style, and insane skill set that enables DJ Rock City to build lasting relationships with his audiences.
Soon Rock City will be taking his talent overseas, where he’ll be touring venues in Europe and beyond. All international club-goers who get a chance to rock with the famous Mohawk are in for an unforgettable experience.
